Killington-Pico Rotary Ice-Out Contest On the Grist Mill Pond Contest Information and Rules: 1) Ice-Out is the exact time that a 72-pound concrete block drops through the melting ice during the spring as determined by a timing device. Closest to the exact time of Ice-Out is the winner. 2) If there is a tie, the winners will share the winning prize equally. 3) Complete the Entry Ticket and mail to Killington-Pico Rotary Club, Ice Out Contest, P.O. Box 179, Killington, VT 05751. Checks should be made payable to Killington-Pico Rotary. 4) Tickets must be postmarked by APRIL 1. 5) Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age. 6) In the event that any unforeseen occurrence (malicious act, tampering, act of nature, or otherwise) makes it impossible to determine the exact time of Ice-Out, one winner will be determined by drawing one winning ticket in lottery fashion. 7) All decisions of the Ice-Out Committee are final. 8) Visit www.KillingtonPicoRotary.org for contest updates. 9) Suggestion: You may want to make a note of Ice-Out date and time guess(es).
